About The PhDJ -- I have been a DJ in Cincinnati and the Greater Cincinnati area since 1995.  However, my DJ experience goes back to my college days at the University of Indianapolis where I had a rock 'n roll radio show on the classical music station WICR-FM.  (I guess I've been a bit "out of the box" for awhile now.) After graduation, I pursued and received my PhD. in chemistry at the University of Illinois, in Champaign-Urbana.  With my PhD. and interest in music, the components for the PhDJ were in place. 

After I moved to Cincinnati to begin my career in "Corporate America", I began to combine my interest in music, technology, electronics, public speaking, and entertainment to develop creative approaches to corporate meetings and events.  As I gained experience in a variety of situations, settings, and audiences, I expanded my efforts to more thoroughly integrate music, audio, video and entertainment into special events, team building and workshops, still primarily in a corporate setting.  Eventually, I moved beyond the corporate walls, bringing my knowledge, experience and style into weddings and other special occasions.  I've integrated my insight, expertise and experience from various venues - from small audiences to large; from board rooms to convention centers - into my PhDJ business.  And I bring these experiences every time!
